As a Software Test Engineer, you’ll be the guardian of quality – blending manual testing know-how with automated testing expertise to ensure our applications exceed expectations. You’ll work closely with talented colleagues to analyze, test, and fine-tune our platforms, making sure every release hits the mark.
Key responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of new and existing software features with minimal supervision
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
- Execute regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and support their resolution
- Prepare test plans, define testing scope, objectives, risks, and deliverables
- Track and report test metrics, results, and overall quality status
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support enhancements
- Support integration testing with internal systems and third-party services
- Ensure testing activities are repeatable, efficient, and delivered on time
- Actively contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and automation coverage

Personality requirements and skills
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation
- Proven experience designing and developing test automation frameworks
- Coding skills in JavaScript / TypeScriptand experience with Cypress, Playwright, or MochaJS
- Hands-on experience with API testing (REST) and writing SQL queries
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Solid understanding ofend-to-end, system, and integration testing
- Experience testing distributed or microservices-based architectures
- Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies and working in Agile teams
- Experience with performance or load testing is an advantage
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable mindset and ability to work in a complex environment
- Good communication skills in English and Slovak
- ISTQB certificationis an advantage
