We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst who will work at the intersection of defensive measures, security monitoring, and incident response. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with vulnerability management, penetration testing, risk assessments, and the design of secure solutions that protect enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, and applications.

You will collaborate with developers, engineers, and security leaders to create a safer digital environment, while also driving a culture of cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

Job Duties

  • Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures to safeguard company data, systems, and networks.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat modeling, and log analysis to uncover and mitigate risks.
  • Support the secure software development lifecycle (S-SDLC) by automating security controls and guiding development teams.
  • Design and implement solutions to reduce cybersecurity risks across infrastructure, cloud services, devices, and applications.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Review change management items (RWIs) and ensure compliance with security governance and controls.
  • Stay up to date with standards and regulatory frameworks (SOC-2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, ISO 42001).
  • Promote a “cyber-safe culture” by supporting teams and customers with best practices.
  • Handle daily reporting, communication, and coordination with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security.
  • Knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability testing, IAM, encryption, and application security.
  • Basic experience with network penetration testing techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to explain vulnerabilities and mitigations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Strong English communication skills (B2/C1).

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Programming and scripting skills (Python, Java, .NET, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and leading vulnerability management tools.
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, CVEs, and secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, TDD, threat modeling, and cloud environments.
  • Industry certifications (e.g. Cisco, CompTIA, AWS, ISC², or other IT/cybersecurity certifications).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn the latest security trends.
