We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our VAT team and play a key role in ensuring VAT compliance while supporting the transition toward standardized and digitalized indirect tax solutions. Your key responsibilities
- Prepare and file VAT returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and support foreign VAT reclaims where needed
- Run regular VAT checks to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Review and analyze VAT transactions across EAME and manage VAT filings in multiple countries
- Prepare and post VAT-related accounting entries and maintain VAT accounts
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Act as the main point of contact for VAT-related questions from colleagues, business partners, and external stakeholders
- Work closely with AP/AR and other teams to resolve VAT issues and deliver practical, compliant solutions
- Identify VAT risks early and help minimize exposure while staying fully compliant
- Coordinate VAT audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities across the region
- Monitor VAT legislation changes and support the implementation of new requirements
- Contribute to improving indirect tax KPIs and driving simplification and digitalization initiatives
- Handle low- to medium-complexity VAT topics independently, knowing when to escalate
- Collaborate with external VAT advisors when required

Language skills: English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (tax specialization preferred) or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and international VAT reporting
- Knowledge of Italian VAT is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within international teams
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages (especially Italian) are a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Accounting or tax certification is an asset
